This bourgogne is something of a rarity, produced from Pinot Fin - the ancient rootstock of Pinot Noir. Very few growers continue to cultivate this strain of Pinot Noir, but it is a beauty with great clarity and rich aromas. This bottle is dominated by lively red cherries and berry fruits, with a touch of spice, leather and earth. A serious and delicious Bourgogne Rouge indeed.
